Objective

NBHC Procomm offers Quality testing, Grading, Inspection and Certification services for agricultural trading and packaging companies within Pan India.

They were receiving hundreds of requests for services from all over India, and managing them all via email and excel was becoming increasingly difficult. Off-the-shelf CRMs with some customizations didn’t seem to be up to the task, so it was decided to develop a custom CRM that could support them in the longer run.

Challenges

  • Each commodity testing requires a different parameter to be tested.
  • Each customer requested for a different parameter to be tested for similar commodity.
  • Mapping of commodity to customer to parameters was a challenging task since there are thousands of commodities.

Solutions

Based on our initial discussions with the CXOs, we suggested to start with a MVP which would include the wireframes, clickable prototype. This helped to envision the functionality to all the stakeholders including the management, operations and on-field teams.

The application consisted of Mobile responsive Web based CRM for Operation and PWA app for field users. We suggested .NET with Angular for the web application and PWA app in Angular as well.

Below mentioned were the features:

  • Two Factor Authentication for the Users Onboarding of the customers to raise and track inquiries from the application
  • Customer’s management team can see quick view of the testing reports.
  • Assignment of inquiries to the local operations and field staff.
  • Report generation of the testing results to be sent to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Insightful reports for the management to get a overview of the business processes.

Results

  • Launched the application across Pan- India
  • Application handles more than 100+ inquiries per day
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs) got implemented without any hassle
  • Inquiry fullfilment ratio’s improved with visibility to the customers
  • Customer satisfaction ration increased helping to onboard new customers easily
  • New  customer  onboarding  takes  2 working days compared to 6-7 working days earlier
